Located near the center of the church is the Memorial Garden. It was established in 2002 to offer members of Duluth First United Methodist Church a beautiful garden setting for the internment of their cinerarium. One can enter the garden through a door in the hallway between the Gathering room and the Atrium, or a door from the Chapel.
Memorial bricks can be purchased, and personalized engraving can be ordered, at the church office. A site map of the garden is maintained at the church office and the buyer has a choice of locations in the garden. For more information, please contact Marilyn Scheiwe at mscheiwe@duluthumc.org, or call 770-476-3776, ext. 111
What better place for internment and a final resting place, than at your church home. Or you may wish to purchase a brick in honor of someone dear to you or your family.
The memorial garden is always open as a quiet place for prayer, solace and remembrance.
