Music & Worship Arts

Glorious God, source of joy and righteousness,
enable us as redeemed and forgiven children
evermore to rejoice in singing your praises.
Grant that what we sing with our lips we may believe in our hearts,
and what we believe in our hearts we may practice in our lives;
so that being doers of the Word and not hearers only,
we may receive everlasting life through Christ our Lord. Amen.

Volunteers Needed

Camera and Streaming Operators Needed for All Worship Services

Did you know that through live streaming our three worship services that we reach approximately 200+ members and visitors each week? And those are just view numbers on YouTube and Facebook that don’t take into account how many people are watching together on the same device.

Our streaming ministry is a vital connection and extension of our on-campus worship. We need more volunteers at all three worship services to help keep this ministry going. If you have experience with camera or streaming operation, or are willing to learn how – both are EASY! Please contact either Johnathan Ancell, Director of Worship Technology, by e-mail at jancell@duluthumc.org, or David Daniel, Minister of Music & Worship Arts, by e-mail at ddaniel@duluthumc.org.

Actors Needed
On Wednesday, March 27th, we will share together in an Early Christian Meal where actors will portray characters close to Jesus, like Lazarus, Mary Magdalene, Peter, and others. Several adults and a few youth are needed to portray these characters.

There will be an informational meeting and rehearsal after 11:00 a.m. worship on Sunday, February 11th. Lunch will be provided. Please let us know if you’re coming so that we have enough food for everyone. Please contact David Daniel, Minister of Music & Worship Arts, by e-mail at ddaniel@duluthumc.org to register for lunch or for more information.
