Women Studying Together, our Thursday morning Bible study open to all women, meets from 10:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. in room F145, located on the 1st floor Sheldon Family Life Center. This is a discussion group which includes women at different stages of life. Various themes of the Bible are addressed, sometimes going straight through a particular book, and other times a selection of Biblical references. A variety of resource materials are used for different perspectives and to encourage growth. We are currently studying selections from the book of Job. This 4–5-week study will include the following topics for discussion: Assumptions about Prosperity and Success; Being a Friend to the Hurting; Talking to God — Challenging or Asking? “Too Wonderful for Me”. The objective of Women Studying Together is that our time together is encouraging and supportive of growth as individual disciples and as a community of believers. As we study, we ask questions, search for answers, share our stories, laugh and pray together. Discussions are led by Jenny Masterson. Bring your Bible (any translation) and join us.
