Bring your pets to the “Blessing of the Animals” service on Sunday, October 20th. This service will be held at 3:00 p.m. on the Fellowship Terrace, located in front of the Fellowship Hall. In case of rain the service will be held under the back portico entrance of the Family Life Center. We will be joined by a representative of Planned PEThood of GA, a local nonprofit who help pets and their families with low-cost veterinary care all over the state. “Blessing of the Animals” witnesses to God’s and the Church’s love, care and concern for creation. St. Francis of Assisi, the author of the hymn All Creatures of Our God and King was an important person in reminding us of honoring all of God’s creation.
