The United Women in Faith (UWF) invite everyone to join them on Saturday, February 10th, for a conversation with Gary MacDonald, Stewardship and Advancement Manager of the Murphy-Harpst Children’s Center, a missions ministry supported by Duluth First United Methodist Church. Join us from 9:00 to 11:00 a.m. in the Dorothy L. Rainey Fellowship Hall for coffee and sweets as we hear more about Murphy-Harpst and how we can help. We will make old fashioned homemade valentines for the youth (mostly male) being served at Murphy-Harpst. We are also collecting art supplies from the list below: Watercolors, acrylic paint pens, acrylic paints Paint brushes and flat canvas panels Sketch pads (no spiral bound) Watercolor paper Colored pencils, marker sets (thin, thick, metallic), gel pens Journals (no spiral bound) Art kits (jewelry making, friendship bracelets, looms, weaving, sand art, slime, papier mâché, paint-by-number, etc.) Craft supplies (beads, elastic string cord, paracord, foam shapes, etc.) Tie dye and adult size white t-shirts Please bring the art supplies with you on February 10th, or place them in the marked bins on the 1st floor of the Sheldon Family Life Center or on the stage in the Dorothy L. Rainey Fellowship Hall.
