Clarence Allen “Cam” Mullinax, age 79, of Buford, GA, passed away on November 3, 2023. There will be a visitation on Saturday, November 11th, at 1:00 p.m. at Duluth First United Church with a memorial service at 2:00 p.m. and reception to follow. Cam was preceded in death by his father, Clarence Allen Mullinax, Sr., and his mother Margaret Lucile Mizell Hubbard. He is survived by his wife of 56 years, Joanne Philpott Mullinax; children: Margaret Tontillo (Mike), Karen Wood (Scott), and Mark Mullinax; grandchildren: Natalie Tontillo, Zach Tontillo, Ally Varitek, Jill Tontillo, Kendall Varitek, and Caroline Varitek; brothers, Van (Joyce) Mullinax and Paul (Christine) Mullinax; uncle, Joseph (June) Mizell; and numerous cousins, nieces and nephews. Cam attended O’Keefe High School in Atlanta. He was in the US Army for three years and then worked for Southern Bell (Bell South) for 30 years. He was a member of Duluth First United Methodist Church. In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that donations be made to the North Gwinnett Co-Op, at northgwinnettcoop.org.
