Women Studying Together begins on Thursday, January 12, 2023. All women are invited to join an 11-week study on the book Words of Life, Jesus and the Promise of the Ten Commandments Today by Adam Hamilton. Why the 10 Commandments? “I have heard them all my life and I already know all those thou-shalt-nots”. “Teacher, I have kept all these things from my youth.” (Mk. 10:20) So, why? Using our Bibles, videos, and text, we will connect the Ten Commandments, Jesus’ reinterpretation and God’s promises. Hamilton helps us understand them as an antidote to workaholism, materialism, social media driven envy, and many other things that plague our world. God gave them to bring us blessings, not burdens. This study, led by Jenny Masterson, will meet from 10 to 11:30 a.m. in room F-145, located on the 1st floor of the Sheldon Family Life Center.
