As we fall into new weather and routines, it is important to take time to fall into our spiritual rhythm too. On Thursday, October 13th, Rev. Dr. C. Kay Fuino will lead a time of retreat on Listening to God, based on Psalm 46:10, “Be still, and know that I am God.” Our lives often seem to be on the speed cycle and we need to attend more deliberately to the gift of life and choose to reorient our lives to God in meaningful ways. We will take time for silence, journaling, art, music and conversation to see God in our lives and feel God’s joy in who we are each moment. The retreat on October 13th begins at 10 a.m., with a break for lunch at noon, and ending by 2 p.m. to allow those who need to pick up children to be on time without having to hurry.
