A new summer Bible study entitled “The Story of the Bible” will be led by Pete Fleming starting Tuesday, July 12th. This six-week course will be offered on Tuesday mornings from 10 to 11:30 a.m. in room F-204, located on the 2nd floor of the Sheldon Family Life Center. The study begins July 12th and will conclude on August 16th. Discussion will focus on the impact of the Bible on Western Civilization and in daily living. Participants are should bring their favorite Bible. Pete will provide written guidance for upcoming discussions prior to each class, and will introduce many books on the subject. Discussions will be augmented by video presentations from Luke Timothy Johnson, Amy-Jill Levine, and Bart Ehrman, all recognized Biblical scholars.
