Life changes often leave us without the resources we need from day to day. Sometimes there are family members who can help, or the church and good friends, but other times you just need that one person who truly understands where you are in the moment. One of those life changes is the loss of a spouse, forcing you into a group of women called widows. This is not a group you chose to join, but now we have a new place just for you. You are invited to the widows’ support group meeting in the Gathering Room, just outside the Sanctuary, on Wednesday, April 20th, at 3:30 p.m. This is a time to meet, share your needs – we all have them, and have fun and a brief time of devotion. It is a casual time to share your thoughts and desires about the structure of the group, the time to meet, how often to meet, and any opportunities for future events for widows. Join us on April 20th and feel free to bring a friend. Meetings are planned for the 1st and 3rd Wednesday of each month.
