You are invited to begin the Advent season with Rev. Dr. C. Kay Fuino during the Sunday School hour for a four-week Advent journey guided by the practices in John Wesley’s means of grace. During the All the Good: A Wesleyan Way of Christmas study you will enjoy discovering treasured nuggets of Methodist history and their connections to the message of Christmas. Scripturaly grounded, historically educational, and personally warm and engaging, All the Good not only reminds us of the good news as we prepare for Christmas, but invites us to respond to it as well. The authors are leaders in United Methodist Education from Divinity schools like Duke and Candler. The outline includes: Week 1: Practicing Advent; Preparing the Way; Week 2: Praying in Advent; Week 3: Practices of Mercy: Embodying God’s Love for Others; Week 4: Christmas is Only the Beginning: God Sends the Church to the World.
