Last year we were unable to hold Bundle Up for Buffalo, our bake and craft sale fundraiser for the benefit of the children of the Seneca Street United Methodist Church in Buffalo, NY. Money raised from this event helps keep the heat on in the church throughout the cold months, usually late October to May, so the children will be able to gather there every day after school. The generous people of Duluth First UMC have helped so much in this fundraiser in the past by creating and purchasing baked items, knitted blankets, and wonderful craft items. Many people have been asking if this event will take place this year, and we are happy to say YES! Bundle Up for Buffalo will be held on Sunday, November 14th, from 9:30 to 11:00 a.m., and from 12:00 to 1:00 p.m. The sale will not be held during worship service hours. In order to help make the Bundle Up for Buffalo fundraiser a great success, volunteers are needed to: Set up tables and a few chairs in Fellowship Hall on Saturday, November 13th. Help lay out sale items on the tables and complete the pricing. Make a handmade craft item. Bake a goodie and bag it for individual purchase. Take down the tables and chairs following the sale.
