The rising 5th and 6th grade kids participating in the Extreme VBS part of this summer's "Rocky Railway: Jesus’ Power Pulls Us Through" Vacation Bible School (VBS) at Duluth First UMC will host a Drive-Up Food Drive for the Hands of Christ Duluth Co-op, a local missions ministry, on Thursday, June 24th, from 10 a.m. to noon. The food drives were hugely successful when Wednesday Night Drive-Thru Dinners were offered, and we are excited to continue to offer a meaningful and safe way for your family to serve our community. The Extreme VBS kids will be collecting a variety of goods at a donation station set up underneath the rear portico at the back of the Family Life Center. Critically needed food items on Thursday, June 24th, are jelly (in squeeze bottles), cans of tuna, chunky soups, canned soups (tomato, veggie beef), and canned vegetables (spinach, lima beans, carrots, collards, corn) To learn more about the Duluth Co-op, please click on https://duluthco-op.org.
