Duluth First United Methodist Church 3208 Duluth Hwy 120 Duluth, GA 30096

Make plans to join us for Hope for the Holidays - A Candle Lighting Service of Remembrance, a program of reflection followed by candle lighting in memory of your loved one(s), on Monday, November 23rd, with services at: Noon, in-person in the Sanctuary; 7 p.m., in-person in the Sanctuary, as well as streamed online on the Duluth First UMC Worship page on YouTube. We understand the holiday season may be a challenge for individuals and families who have lost someone special. Duluth First UMC has established a meaningful time for people to come together…to reflect, to remember and to honor those lives that have meant so much. PLEASE NOTE: If you plan to attend either of the in-person services, masks are required to be worn. People will be asked to call out the name(s) of a loved one/loved ones, and a Stephen Minister will light a candle/candles in honor of the loved one(s). Families can sit together, but families and individuals must maintain at least 6 feet of distance from one another for social distancing. Please do your best to observe 6-foot distancing, including no hugging, no handshakes, no holding the door for the person behind you, etc.
