Online study
The S.A.L.T. (Studying and Learning Together) Sunday School class will begin an online study of Paul’s first letter to the church at Corinth beginning August 30th. This will be a 6-week online course led by various class members. Pete Fleming will begin the course with an introduction and overview. Class members will present four chapters from First Corinthians each Sunday. Paul founded the Corinthian church, but as his first letter shows, the congregation had drifted in many ways. We will explore this powerful glimpse into the first century church with a view toward discerning what Paul was saying to the Corinthians as well as what his message can say to the church today. All are invited to join us on this journey back to the 5th decade (c. 50-60) of the Common Era. Classes will begin at 9:30 a.m. and will be presented via Zoom. Anyone who would like to “zoom in” may do so by sending an e-mail message to Ann Fleming at afleming3832@att.net.
