The Missions Ministry is hosting a “Drive-Up Food Drive” food collection for the Hands of Christ Duluth Co-op, a local missions ministry, on Wednesday, August 19th, from 10 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. (noon). We will have the donation station set up underneath the portico in the back parking lot of the Family Life Center. We will be collecting a variety of canned, jarred, and boxed goods for the Hands of Christ Duluth Co-op. Critically needed items for August 19th are canned corn, canned peas, canned mixed vegetables (mixed, spinach, carrots), canned beans (black, kidney, pinto, refried, etc), canned meat (chili, Spam, hash), canned pasta, mac & cheese, and boxed pasta. The Missions Ministry will host the “Drive-Up Food Drive” food collections on the 1st and 3rd Wednesday’s of each month for the ongoing future. *SAFETY NOTE: In order to ensure the safety of all participants and adhere to CDC guidelines regarding social distancing, we will have one family at a time drive up to drop off their donations.
