The Duluth First UMC Missions Ministry is hosting a "Drive-Up Food Drive" food collection for the Hands of Christ Duluth Co-op, a local missions ministry, on Wednesday, July 1st, from 10 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. (noon). We will have the donation station set up underneath the portico in the back parking lot of the Family Life Center. We are excited to offer a meaningful and safe way for your family to serve our community during this uncertain time. We will be collecting a variety of canned, jarred, and boxed goods for the Hands of Christ Duluth Co-op. Critically needed items for July 1st are canned vegetables (peas, green beans), canned mixed vegetables (mixed, Lima beans, carrots, spinach, peas & carrots), spaghetti, pasta sauce, canned pasta, canned meat (chicken, chili, beef stew), and cereal. The Missions Ministry will host the "Drive-Up Food Drive" food collections on the 1st and 3rd Wednesday's of each month for the ongoing future. *SAFETY NOTE: In order to ensure the safety of all participants and adhere to CDC guidelines regarding social distancing, we will have one family at a time drive up to drop off their donations.
