Duluth First United Methodist Church 3208 Duluth Hwy 120 Duluth, GA 30096

The American Red Cross will hold Blood Drives at Duluth First United Methodist Church on June 9th, 10th, and 11th. The times for each date are: Tuesday, June 9th: 2 to 7 p.m.; Wednesday, June 10th: 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.; Thursday, June 11th: 2 to 7 p.m. The American Red Cross is still holding blood drives during the pandemic and Georgia's modified stay-at-home order as the drives are an essential need. There's no substitute for blood. When a patient receives blood, it was given in advance by a generous donor. Every day, blood donors help patients of all ages: accident and burn victims, heart surgery and organ transplant patients, and those battling cancer. In fact, every two seconds, someone in the U.S. needs blood. If you are committed to giving a gift of life and would like to make an appointment: Sign up online by going to www.redcrossblood.org and entering dufumc into the SPONSOR CODE box; Make an appointment by calling 1-800-RED CROSS (1-800-733-2767); Contact Tracy Brinker by e-mail at tbrinker@duluthumc.org; Last, but not least, as a "walk-in" on Blood Drive Day The benefits of donating blood are: It's something you can spare. Most people have blood to spare...yet, there is still not enough to go around. You will help ensure blood is on the shelf when needed. Most people don't think they'll ever need blood, but many do. You will be someone's hero! In fact, you could help save more than one life with just one donation.
