The Duluth First UMC Missions Ministry is hosting a "Drive-Up Food Drive" food collection for the Hands of Christ Duluth Co-op, a local missions ministry, on Wednesday, May 20th, from 10 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. (noon). We are excited to offer a meaningful and safe way for your family to serve our community during this uncertain time. We will be collecting a variety of canned, jarred, and boxed goods for the Hands of Christ Duluth Co-op. A listing of items that are critically needed will be posted closer to the date of the collection. Beginning in May the Missions Ministry will take over the drive-up food drives for the Hands of Christ Duluth Co-op. Drive-up food drives will be held through on the 1st and 3rd Wednesday's of May and June. We will re-evaluate the need for any additional food drives following June 22nd when we expect the church to re-open and worship services to tentatively resume on June 28th. Please watch your e-mails from the church for updates on what the critically needed items for each collection date will be. *SAFETY NOTE: In order to ensure the safety of all participants and adhere to CDC guidelines regarding social distancing, we will have one family at a time drive up to drop off their donations. We will have a donation station set up underneath the portico in the back parking lot of the Family Life Center. Please pack your items in your car trunk, and our volunteers will collect the items directly from there. Thank you!
