Room F-145, Family Life Center
How is your soul? In a culture where we promote self-care, we often feel like something is still lacking. Join us for Soul Care, a six-week series, as we explore the four aspects of soul care that can help us seek contentment and restoration. Soul Care will be led by Rev. Lindsay Geist, MDiv, MSW, LCSW. Lindsay is uniquely trained, having earned a Masters in Divinity from Duke Divinity School and a Masters in Social Work from University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. She is credentialed as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in Georgia as well as ordained as a Deacon in Full Connection in the North Georgia Conference of The United Methodist Church. Soul Care will be held on Wednesday nights, September 4th through October 9th, from 6 to 7 p.m. in room F-145, located on the 1st floor of the Family Life Center. The cost is $20 per person. The registration deadline is Sunday, September 1st, and the class size is limited to 20 participants. To register, please contact Rev. Beth Brown Shugart by e-mail at bshugart@duluthumc.org, or call 770-476-3776, ext. 128.
