The ladies’ Thursday morning Bible Study will finish the school year with a study of the book "Play with Fire: Discovering Fierce Faith" by Bianca Juárez Olthoff. The book’s author shows how God uses Fire in the Bible to reveal his presence to His people, lead them, refine them, and empower them. He revealed himself to Moses in the burning bush and led the Israelites in a pillar of fire. He walked the three Hebrew youth in a fiery furnace. His Holy Spirit appeared like tongues of flame above the heads of the early Christians at Pentecost. God uses that same "fire" to burn away the things in our lives that get in the way of His purposes. He has HUGE dreams for us, He brings His fire to refine us, shape us, and empower us into the people He wants us to be. In this way, each of us, like the mythical Phoenix, can rise from the ashes of our old lives to a new life in Christ! There are five sessions in the study beginning Thursday, March 28th. The study meets at 10:00 a.m. in rooms F-146/147, located on the 1st floor of the Family Life Center.
