Church can be an intimidating place to visit — especially if you don’t know what to expect. Our Sunday morning worship services are the beginning for most people at Duluth First United Methodist Church. We invite you to experience what the gospel means both intellectually and relationally at one of our three Sunday worship services.
Our greeters will warmly welcome you and answer any questions about Duluth First United Methodist Church that you may have. We hope that through visiting with us, you will experience the hope, love and joy that comes from a community of people who love Jesus.
At Duluth First United Methodist Church we look for God’s love in our lives as the evidence that we have been truly worshipping Him. Authentic worship, central to everything, means learning to recognize God’s goodness while delighting to deepen in our responses.
It is our goal, as individuals and as a community, to unite our actions, intentions, and emotions in loving response to God. It means transforming the ways we think so that what we do and who we are become one—in, for, through, and to the Father, Son, and the Holy Spirit.

there's a place for you on our
worship technology teams
Did you know that through the live streaming of our three worship services we reach approximately 200+ members and visitors each week? And those are just view numbers on YouTube and Facebook that don’t take into account how many people are watching together on the same device.
Our Worship Technology Ministry and streaming services provide a vital connection and extension of our on-campus worship. We need more volunteers at all three worship services to help keep this ministry going. If you have experience with camera or streaming operation, or are willing to learn how – both are EASY! Please contact either Johnathan Ancell, Director of Worship Technology, by e-mail at jancell@duluthumc.org, or Verena Lucía Anders, Minister of Music & Worship Arts, by e-mail at vanders@duluthumc.org.
