Advent: Hope, Peace, Joy, Love

Students and parents, we are so excited to journey through this season of Advent with you!  Please scroll down to see all the exciting things that are happening in the life of our Student Ministry.  May this season be filled with hope, peace, joy and love for you and you family!

"Save the Dates" for December

  • December 5th at 5:30 p.m. in the Youth Center ("The Fish Tank"); Topic: Peace; Fun Factor: Gingerbread house competition (We’ll compete to see who can put together the best gingerbread house).
  • December 12th at 5:30 p.m. in Hinton Hall; Fun Factor: Ugly Sweater Christmas Party (Please have your child wear an ugly sweater to this event and we’ll have a competition to decide who wore the ugliest sweater. Also, please have your child bring a wrapped gift of under $20 for the White Elephant Gift Exchange. Lastly, we will provide ham and turkey and a few sides. We ask that you would send in a side or/and a dessert for the Christmas party meal).
  • December 19th: No Sunday Night Gathering (Winter Break); A short message will be posted on our YouTube channel on the topic of joy.
  • December 24th: Christmas Eve Worship Services - Contemporary Worship with Communion, Noon in Hinton Hall; Traditional Candlelight Services, 4 & 6 p.m. in the Sanctuary; Please note that for those who are not vaccinated, masks are required. Masks are available at the church.
  • December 26th: No Sunday Night Gathering (Winter Break); A short message will be posted on our YouTube channel on the topic of love.

Bible Studies for Middle School and High School Students

Weekly Youth Ministry Bible studies for Middle School and High School students are held Wednesday evenings from 6 to 7 p.m. in room F-154, located on the 1st floor of the Family Life Center building.  These studies will be based on issues that our youth face in their everyday lives, and will concentrate on applying Biblical principles to their everyday lives.

Sunday School Class for Youth

Sunday school class is available for 6th through 12th grade students at 9:30 a.m. in room F-149.

Sunday Night Gathering

Students will gather in the Youth Center (“The Fish Tank”), located on the 1st floor of the Family Life Center building, at 5:30 p.m.  There will be dinner, announcements, games, worship, a message, and small groups based on age and gender.  Youth Group will end at 7:30 p.m.

We Need You!

Youth - We need YOU to make Youth Group a success, after all that's why it's called Youth Group.

Parents and other interested adults - We need YOU to make youth group a success.  We are always seeking new counselors to join the A-Team or to chaperone events.
