Our annual Back-to-School Pool Party will be Sunday afternoon, August 4th.  All Middle School students will meet behind the church between 3:45 to 4 p.m. and walk over to the Lail’s pool.  Middle School students will have the pool from 4 to 5:30 p.m., and have dinner from 5:30 to 6 p.m.  Middle School students will be ready for pick up behind the church at 6:15 p.m.  High School students will have the pool from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m., with dinner from 5:30 to 6 p.m.  We can’t wait to get the year started, so invite a friend and join us for a lot of fun on August 4th.  All parents are also invited.

There will be a Youth Ministry open house on Sunday, August 11th, in the Youth Center (“The Fish Tank”) during our regular meeting time of 5:30 to 8 p.m.  All parents are invited and encouraged to attend.  This will be a time of games, introductions, information, and a whole of fun.  Join us and see what we do on Sunday evenings in “The Fish Tank.”

Wednesday evening Bible studies will begin for both Middle School and High School on August 14th from 6 to 7 p.m.  Middle School will begin with a study on the book of James, and High School will begin a study on Biblical leadership.  All students, grades 6 through 12, are welcome to join us on Wednesday evenings.

WE NEED YOU!
Youth - We need YOU to make Youth Group a success, after all that's why it's called Youth Group.

Parents and other interested adults - We need YOU to make youth group a success.  We are always seeking new counselors to join the A-Team, or to chaperone events.  This summer particularly we need some of you to help teach Sunday school for youth during the 11:00 o'clock time.  There is a curriculum for you to use, or you are welcome to provide a topic for discussion. Please contact David Burchett, Director of Youth Ministries, by e-mail at dburchett@duluthumc.org if you would like to help with our youth or need more information about youth group activities.

For any questions about any of these events/programs, please contact David Burchett, Director of Youth Ministries, by e-mail at dburchett@duluthumc.org, or call 770-476-3776, ext. 119.
