The senior adults of our congregation have many gifts and talents to offer to the church and the surrounding community. They are active and encouraged to participate in all aspects of the various ministries of the church. They are a vital part of the ministry of the church and are truly an asset to the surrounding community.

Senior Fellowship Luncheon Programs

Senior Fellowship Program & Luncheon:  October 8th

The Senior Fellowship will meet for its monthly program and luncheon on Tuesday, October 8th, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. in the Fellowship Hall.  This is a great way for senior adults to come together for food, fun and fellowship. The program on October 8th will feature a guest speaker from the Education Department of the Fire Marshall's office.

The meeting begins at 11 a.m. and the program starts at 11:15 a.m. Lunch begins at noon. A donation will be accepted for the lunch. All senior adults are welcome to attend the program or the lunch or both.  Please call Bonnie Tinnell at 770-476-8680 for more information.

The Roadrunners (Trips especially for Senior Adults)

The Roadrunners Travel to Dahlonega:  September 17th
Join The Roadrunners on Tuesday, September 17th, as they travel to Dahlonega. They will leave the church’s front parking lot at 10 a.m. and will return by 4 p.m. Lunch will be at 11:30 a.m. at The Smith House. Following lunch The Roadrunners will tour the Consolidated Gold Mine. Tennis shoes or closed toe shoes are required.

The cost for the trip is $35.00 per person, which includes lunch and the tour. The tour is limited to 25 people.
