The Ministry of Care at Duluth First United Methodist Church
Reaching out and caring for children, youth, adults and seniors at Duluth First United Methodist Church.
The vision of the Ministry of Care at Duluth First United Methodist Church is to promote the Christian message of healing the body, mind, and spirit among all persons within our church and community.
"I praise you, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made.
Wonderful are your works; that I know very well."
Psalm 139:14
Care and casseroles, rides to clinics,
And cards for the bedside table
It represents a gathering of people
Who have heard and keep hearing,
The word of the Healer,
Who are busy interpreting the message
Of wholeness in a world of brokenness.
By their own stumbling words, halting actions,
and sometimes distracted thoughts,
They help the persons whom are struggling
To come to terms with some of their problems,
To cope, and in a way, to transcend them
On the pilgrimage to triumph.
