United Methodist Women's Retreat
& Mission Study:
September 11th
All women are invited to attend the United Methodist Women’s Fall
Retreat and Mission Study, being held at the church on Saturday, September 11th, from
9:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. in the Fellowship Hall as we study “For the Love of God: The Epistles of John”.
This short study of John Wesley’s most recommended books of the Bible
will be led by Terrie Adkins, Margie Bullock and Katherine Posey. In
preparation for the session, please read the books John 1-3 from your
favorite translation of the Bible, and during the session we will enjoy
hearing different versions.
Morning beverages, snacks and lunch will be provided. There is no
charge for attending the retreat. Donations can be made for lunch and
any amount above cost will be donated to the United Methodist
Children’s Home.
Registrations will be taken Sunday mornings in the Gathering Room and
outside the Grand Hall. We look forward to sharing a day of fellowship
and scripture study with all who attend!
