“The Shack” Study Begins August 16th
Wednesday, August 16th, through Wednesday, September 20th
The book The Shack and its movie adaptation have created a great deal of interest and lots of comments in the Christian Community. Many of these comments are concerning the depiction of the Trinity. Join us on Wednesday, August 16th, as we gather to talk about the movie and the book using a study guide based on elements about love, forgiveness and loss in the movie.
The discussion, led by Rev. C. Kay Fuino, will meet for 6 weeks beginning on August 16th at 6:30 p.m. in room F-145, located on the 1st floor of the Family Life Center, and will continue through September 20th. The group will use a study guide based on elements in the movie coupled with additional insights from other resources. The cost for the study guide is $8. You may also want to purchase the original book to read.
You may register and pay in advance by contacting Tracy Brinker, our Church Receptionist, by e-mail at firstname.lastname@example.org or calling 770-476-3376 so that your book will be available on August 16th when the class begins. If you have questions or would like more information please contact Rev. C. Kay Fuino by e-mail at email@example.com, or call 770-476-3776, ext. 117.
